Commercial Roofing Website Checklist: Can a Buyer Take the Next Step?

Five checks between a Google search and a roofing enquiry your office can act on.

Start on a phone, on a service page.

A property manager searching for a roof repair may never see your homepage. Open the repair page and check whether it answers these five questions.

  1. 01 / PAGEName the serviceState the building, work and area the company serves.
  2. 02 / PROOFShow what supports itUse a permitted project, credential or review with context.
  3. 03 / CONTACTMake the next step usableCheck the phone, form labels and error messages.
  4. 04 / RECEIPTVerify the handoffConfirm the right inbox or CRM receives the request.
  5. 05 / RECORDKeep source and outcome clearRecord attribution or mark it unknown.
Check the path from the page a buyer lands on through to the record the office actually receives.

1. Do you do this kind of work, here?

State the service and the area near the top. “Commercial roof repair in Harrisburg” tells a visitor more than “Quality you can trust.” Only list places your crews serve and systems you work on.

2. Can I see a relevant job?

Show a real commercial roof. Add a short caption: the problem, the work completed and the location if you can publish it. A photo of residential shingles will not help someone assess a flat-roof contractor.

Explain manufacturer relationships rather than relying on a row of logos. Keep certifications and warranty statements current.

3. What happens when I contact you?

Use a button that describes the actual next step: request a call, discuss a repair or arrange an assessment. An “instant quote” button should not lead to a form that only asks for a phone number.

4. Does the request reach someone?

Tap the phone link. Check form labels and error messages. Then arrange a clearly labelled test with your office and confirm it reaches the right inbox or CRM. A thank-you screen alone does not prove delivery.

5. Can you tell which enquiries became work?

Track the source, contact outcome, visit, estimate and sale. Count phone-link clicks separately from connected calls. If you cannot track calls yet, label the gap; do not report zero calls.

Fix the first broken step

Write down the page URL, the problem, who owns it and how you will check the fix. Start with a broken contact path before polishing another paragraph.

Once requests arrive reliably, use the office-to-estimator handoff. See CRE's marketing service for campaign support.
